The Providence Journal: Brown brings literary hypertext to AS220 (Tuesday, May 6th at 9pm)
3:14:36 PM

New York Times (registration required): "Mr. Krassner, who coined the term Yippie, for Youth International Party, in 1967 and who founded the alternative magazine The Realist, added: 'It's strange to be 70 and still identify with a youth movement. But I'd rather identify with evolution than stagnation.'" (Thanks, Terri!)
2:40:56 PM

Don Syme: "Gyro 1.0 now available for download... Gyro 1.0 is a set of files that convert an existing installation of the Microsoft Shared Source CLI 1.0 to support generic type definitions and generic methods."
2:34:14 PM

AS220's Fools Ball is now just over two weeks away. If you aren't busy on May 17th, consider zipping down (or up) to Providence for this once-a-year event.

This is a major fundraiser for AS220, and there are two levels of tickets you can get: $20 gets you into the house party (9pm), where there will be music, games, drinks, and all sorts of fun. $75 gets you into the house party and the sponsor's cocktail party (7pm) where there will be food and drinks. (The $75 ticket also includes admission to all the other Fools Week events).

For any questions, or to reserve some tickets, send me a message.

Arne Hess: "If you want to know more about GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication), GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) and 3G (the 3rd Generation Mobile Communication Standard), which can be already used with Pocket PC (Phone Edition and Smartphone devices; I've recently added some background information to the Forum you might want to give a read..."
