I've also been heads-down on another set of galley proofs, from Shared Source CLI Essentials. It's another book I've read cover-to-cover several times now, and I still find it fascinating. I get a huge kick out of running the sample programs under the Mac OS X build of the Shared Source CLI. This book has been a lot of hard work, but it's exciting to know that it won't be long before I see the finished product! 4:25:14 PM

I'm coming up for air after going heads-down reviewing the galley proofs for Mastering Visual Studio .NET. This book is close to completion, and I'm really excited about it. It does so much more than tell you how to use Visual Studio .NET; it gets into how to extend it in wild and wonderful ways. It will give you cool ideas. This must be the fourth time I've read the manuscript cover-to-cover, and it's a testimony to its quality that I can still get excited about it after so many readings. Ian, Jon, and Chris have done a fantastic job, and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy. 3:47:12 PM
