My RSS to WAP gateway is getting better behaved--it chokes on fewer RSS feeds, and it also uses one deck per entry, so I don't need to worry about maxing out the size of a WML deck with a large feed. Point your WAP browser at it and enjoy reading stuff from my subscriptions. Feel free to send me bug reports and feedback. I can't promise I can fix everything, but I'll hack on it when I have time. What is this thing? Essentially, it's an RSS aggregator for a WAP phone. Why did I write it? So I can read RSS feeds without using a lot of bandwidth or having to take out my laptop.

Ken Rawlings on .NET: "There is no production runtime for an OS other than Windows, and there doesn't appear to be one coming anytime soon."

Paolo Valdemarin: Uploading a Radio weblog on .Mac. This is tempting from a simplification standpoint. I'm paying for .Mac, and I expect I'll continue to do so. Could I live without my own domain name? It would certainly make my life simpler and a little cheaper.
On the other hand, I just read about XRackHosting, and I'm tempted to move Jepstone over to their service, just so I can be on an XServe. I wonder if Hurricane Electric, my current hosting provider, will throw an XServe or two onto their network? Given the trend of Unix geeks picking Mac OS X as a preferred OS, it would be wise for them to do so.
