I've finally plotted my route via public transportation up to the DevCon: Amtrak from Kingston to South Station; Red Line to Alewife; Bus #350 to the Burlington Mall; then on to the conference hotel. I should be arriving at the hotel between 5pm and 7:30pm Wednesday night, depending on whether I get on Amtrak train 172 or 174.

System.Error.Emit: "Extremely busy today getting things in order before I depart in the morning for the DevCon." Even though my trip up north will only take me 2-3 hours, I know how you feel. I just got back from a week-long trip out west, and I'm trying to make some kind of dent in my backlog of work before I disappear again. But I'm really looking forward to the DevCon. It should be a great time.

Adam C. Engst's O'Reilly Mac OS X Conference Report: "I think it's safe to say that people who identify themselves as being Unix users are likely to be network administrators, programmers, scientists, and so on - all people who would be using Unix because of the power and flexibility it provides them and for whom Mac OS X-native programs provide additional, not replacement, capabilities." I completely agree. This is what is so compelling about Mac OS X; the fact that it's all that and more.
