Mac Net Journal: "You know the stereotype of a Wi-Fi user sitting outside, enjoying the summer sun while working away unencumbered by wires? Do you actually do that? Or is that more Wi-Fi fantasy than Wi-Fi reality?" I have not had much luck with a laptop outside. Even in the shade, the light is too bright for my screen to be visible (although my front porch is not too bad). I tend to migrate from one part of the house to another, going from my office to the living room to the porch to the dining room. Also, it's great to have Wi-Fi when I'm on the road, since I sometimes find an access point that I can use.

Windley's Enterprise Computing Weblog: "That way, my wireless network talks to my neighbors, which talks to a neighbor further away, and so on until the wireless system drains to the larger Internet. I've seen this work."
