Signatures, didgeridoo, and hand-blown glass. After our meal, Joan contemplates the scene as Main Street starts filling up with people and things.

On our way to the fish market, we saw the new meat store. More than a butcher shop, Town Meats has sandwiches, salads, and a comfortable dining area. But we wanted fish, so we went to the Main Street Fish Market.

WarWalking. I figured I might as well see if there were any networks on Main Street, but no such luck. I think Eclectibles should set up an 802.11b network, and I bet the local geeks would drink lots of coffee there. I'm not sure that's the audience they are shooting for, though. I would like to see some place in Wakefield where I can enjoy a coffee and/or beer while enjoying wireless Internet.

Main Street Block Party (Wakefield, RI) Last night, we decided to get downtown early so that we could get a good parking place, get into the fish market for supper before it got too crowded, and spend some time downtown before the crowd arrived. We parked at the elementary school and crossed the Saugatucket to get to Main Street.
