Hey Brian! It was mah bukkitts! And we've been seeing a *lot* of cats in our yard (1 house over) including a fellow we think is our boy Junior! What does Oscar look like? email me and let me know, we'll look out for him. The whole thing with the bukkits was so bizarre- I know I sound insane, and all that, but really, the only reason I had a photo of the darn things is that I got them at a fantastic yard sale where I also got a wondrful oxen yoke, a fantastic ammo box that I keep the croquet set in, and the bukkits, so I took a pic of my great haul to email my sister... Oh, it is so strange and awful, but it's given me a lot of opportunities to bewail the fate of mah bukkits! (obviously I heart the lolrus). Definitely let me know about Oscar- and hey, maybe this year we'll manage to get together for dinner! ;)

I have a Sharp MM1110 notebook that has been left in the wardrobe as it's hardrive is faulty. I would like to replace the HD with a solid state memory and run some sort of lightweight linux on it. Have you managed to do it? I have seen a post from you saying you were to install xubuntu in yours. I would appreciate if you could report any successful way of doing it.

Thanks,

Renato

I remember hugh, as a 16 year-old quite kid, and watching him climb, before an after his tragedy, and walking down the bridle path in the gunks, with his legs on the opposite legs, and i knew right there, he would accomplish great things!!he might not remember me & the philly boys, but we truely had some fun times in NEW PALTZ, listening to the whippets, in those great little bars! HE truely was an inspiration, even as a teen, i remember him soloing P.R. and i was a solid 5-11 climber, but i could only follow it, with numerous falls, he flashed it.well i might have to get one of hugh's ankle inventions some day soon, got hit on my harley, keep up your brillant work HUGH!! the boy's from PHILLY. p.s. this was a total rave.
