Windows XP to Palm Connection Sharing over Bluetooth

One of the nice things about Windows XP Service Pack 2 is the
integrated Bluetooth support. One of the bad things is how
that integrated Bluetooth support doesn’t do things that the
vendor-supplied drivers did (see this
Bluetooth Adapter Setup for the Palm Tungsten
for some details).

With a little bit of effort, you can set up an incoming PPP connection
even under Windows XP Home, that lets you use your PC as a Bluetooth
LAN Access Point for your Palm.
(I’m using the
Belkin F8T003 v2 Bluetooth Adapter, which Windows XP Service Pack 2 supports out of the box.)
