Steam Museum
is holding their Original
Yankee Steam-Up
this weekend. I’ve only been once, but it’s a lot of
fun. As far as I know, they have the wireless part of the museum open
as well during the Steam-Up.

RIPTA, Handbasket

reports that RIPTA is threatening to cut the vital Route 64.
This one gets you from URI to Newport with some helpful stops along the
way, including Wakefield Mall and the train station! We really can’t
afford to lose this route. Read Ernie’s post for info on what you can do
