My MM10 has the same rapid flashing orange light symptom now, after I let the battery drain down to the last minute emergency standby again.
I would like to think that a new/refilled battery would fix the problem, but am a little reluctant to shell out $59 for that without knowing if it will indeed work.
The lights on the dock, laptop, and on the battery itself all are green, indicating that the battery is charged...

Did anybody who had this problem replace the battery?

Hey Lore, did you ever figure out what was wrong? I have 2 broken sharp MM10 and I have swapped out parts and I get the same problem. One had a broken screen, the other a bad HD. Thats it, now all I get is green light blinks and orange starts blinking faster. Let me know if you came up with something. email me at payment1@gmail.com
