So I was trying to sync my addressbook when I noticed that new contacts I had recently added weren’t
leaving my computer. They didn’t show up on my Palm or 3650. So, after some huffing and puffing, I
went into AddressBook, selected everything and exported it to vCards. Next, I quit AddressBook and
went into ~/Library/Application Support and moved AddressBook to
AddressBook.hosed. I then restarted AddressBook, imported the vCards, and ran iSync. All is
well now.

“Comedian Lenny Bruce was granted a posthumous pardon by Gov. George
Pataki Tuesday for a nearly 40-year-old obscenity conviction prompted by
a foul-mouthed political commentary.” And from Lenny Bruce’s How to
Talk Dirty and Influence People: “What does it mean for a man to be
found obscene in New York City? This is the most sophisticated city in
the country. This is where they play Genet’s The Balcony. If
anyone is the first person to be found obscene in New York, he must feel
utterly depraved.”

you to upload a compressed image of the entire drive unto an FTP server,
and later download to the drive again.”
I just got word that the O’Reilly Emerging Technology Conference Wiki is up, so be sure to check it out. You’ll find plenty of stuff related to the conference program, but there’s also a space for logistical stuff like ride and room sharing.
