Staying Home this Week
It’s been a pretty sad few weeks. My grandmother entered a hospice in
Providence a couple weeks ago, and she passed away last Thursday. I’ve
decided that I’m going to skip the PDC. There are a lot of folks I was
looking forward to seeing again, and some, to meet for the first time.
But, I need to be around my family this week, and that’s what I’m going
to do. Airborne Express willing, I’ll be getting a Minolta
Dimage Scan Dual III film scanner Monday, and I’ll be filling up a
CD-ROM with family memories that are sitting on a bunch of slide rolls
from the 60s and 70s.
So, I’m sorry that I’ll miss you all at the PDC, but please have lots of
fun there for me. BTW, the Rotor BOF is still on for tonight; John Osborn will Emcee,
and Peter Drayton will
fill you in on the future of Rotor.
