Update: We’ve been hearing a screeching/wheezing sound late at
night that we couldn’t identify. This page (from
OwlCam) has a recording, wheeze
(16weeks) that sounds like what we’ve been hearing. (BTW, we saw
two Owls in the tree this morning, even though I only caught one in the
video).

I put this up a while ago, but forgot to blog it. Here’s a little background: there’s a group in
Peace Dale (of which I’m a member) who is pushing for an AS220-ish arts center in the Palisades mill complex. I
shot some video of the initial
meeting (8MB).

While I was on vacation last week, I got to thinking about old Rocky Point. I made a mental note
to check eBay for any Rocky Point crap when I got back home (yes, I was traveling without a
computer :-). And holy crap, what did I find but Rocky
himself. (As an added bonus, here’s a Rocky Point fan site: http://www.rockypointpark.com/).

Tomorrow we leave for a week of relaxation in the mountains of southwestern
Maine. I won’t have network access during that time (and I think that’s a
good thing), but I plan to bring my digital camera and camcorder, so I hope
to have some interesting videos and/or images to share when I return.
